The Blood Record

The earned path from first entry to lasting standing within the Black Fang Society.

Preface

What Is the Blood Record?

The Blood Record is the living record of earned standing within the Black Fang Society. It marks the thresholds a member may cross as they become known, trusted, and woven into the life of the community. It is not merely a rank list. It is a structure of recognition — a reflection of loyalty, presence, contribution, and the weight a member comes to hold within the Society.

Each title within the Blood Record signifies more than status. Some ranks mark entry. Others recognize loyalty, contribution, and lasting presence. Leadership positions such as Alpha Guard and Council exist alongside this progression as responsibilities of trust — they are not additional member ranks.

Initiate
I

Rank I

INITIATE

The First Threshold

The Initiate is the first marked step into the Black Fang Society. This rank belongs to those who have entered the chamber and stand at the beginning of their path. At this stage, presence is being witnessed, character is being observed, and the first imprint of the Fang begins to form.

An Initiate is new to the circle, but not without meaning. Every lasting member begins here. This is the threshold where curiosity becomes entry, and where a stranger begins the slow process of becoming known.

Role Meaning

Signifies entry, arrival, and the first step into the Society.

Oathbound
II

Rank II

OATHBOUND

Marked by Oath

The Oathbound are no longer simply present — they are recognized as members who have crossed deeper into the structure of the Society. This rank represents commitment. It is the point where continued presence, loyalty, and participation begin to take on deeper meaning.

To be Oathbound is to be more than seen. It is to be witnessed. It marks the transition from simple entry into a more intentional place within the Black Fang Society. The oath may not be spoken aloud, but it is understood through loyalty, consistency, and the choice to remain.

Role Meaning

Signifies commitment, recognition, and belonging within the structure of the Society.

Elite
III

Rank III

ELITE

Proven Among the Fang

The Elite stand above ordinary membership. This rank is reserved for those whose presence has become unmistakable within the Society. Whether through activity, loyalty, contribution, or influence, they have distinguished themselves and now stand marked as members of greater weight within the record.

Elite members are not simply present — they are part of the identity of the chamber itself. Their names carry recognition. Their energy shapes the atmosphere. Their presence contributes to the strength and distinction of the Black Fang Society.

Role Meaning

Signifies distinction, proven presence, and elevated standing in the community.

Blackmark
IV

Rank IV

BLACKMARK

The Highest Earned Standing

Blackmark is the highest earned member standing within the Black Fang Society. It is reserved for those whose loyalty, presence, contribution, and character have become unmistakable over time. A Blackmark is not awarded for simply being present long enough. It is recognition that a member has helped shape the chamber they entered.

Leadership roles such as Alpha Guard and Council are responsibilities, not steps above Blackmark on the member progression ladder. The Blood Record measures earned standing. Leadership describes the work someone has been entrusted to carry for the Society.

Role Meaning

Signifies lasting distinction, trust, contribution, and a presence that has become part of the Society itself.

Structure

The Ascending Path

The Blood Record follows a path of rising presence and responsibility. Each threshold represents a deeper place within the Black Fang Society.

Final Entry

The Record Remains

The Blood Record is more than a structure. It is the living shape of loyalty, presence, and ascension within the Black Fang Society. Each rank exists not as decoration, but as a mark of meaning — a sign of where one stands, what one protects, and how deeply one has become part of the chamber.

Not all who enter are remembered equally.

The Fang remembers those who remain.
